Officers
Elections of NERA officers are held at the annual business meeting and summer picnic. At the 2010 meeting and picnic, held at Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut, the following officers were elected for the 2010 – 2011 year:
Ari Disraelly (President):
Michelle Nickerson (Executive Vice President): A member of the Alpha Upsilon Alpha chapter (Manchester [Conn.] Community College), Michelle previously served as an officer, vice president, and eventually president of her chapter, as well as an officer-at-large and Southern Vice President for the New England Region. She is currently a Business student at her dream school, the University of Connecticut at Storrs, where she works in the Student Activities office.
Jill Bouchard (Northern Vice President):
Katherine Paska (Central Vice President):A member of the Alpha Kappa Upsilon Chapter (Massasoit Community College), Katherine served as the Vice President of Fellowship of her chapter, as well an officer-at-large and Northern Vice President for the New England Region. She currently is a stay at home mom.

Mary Katherine Starr-Proulx (Secretary): A member of the Beta Gamma Xi (Middlesex Community College, CT) chapter. Mary Katherine had served her collegiate chapter as President and Vice President. As a member of NERA she has served as Southern Vice President and now as secretary for the 2010-2011 year. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources from the University of Connecticut and will start her Master’s program in Environmental Management January 2011 at University of Maryland, University College online.
